Whispers of the Past (an OC extravaganza)

You can run from the wind, you can run from the rain, you can run from the stampede, you can run from the hyenas, you can run from almost everything. You cannot run from your past.

The premise is that our OCs all have an aspect in their pasts that can come back to haunt them. There is a larger story behind it all that involves the re-establishment of a Kingdom and perhaps a pride war later on, but the idea is for our characters to become a close-knit pride before this happens. Obviously not all characters will get on great, but that is the fun of it.

I'm going to make this a fairly strict RP in terms of characters and the quality of posting. I'm expected everyone to be at least intermediate writers, good spelling and grammar (I'm aware we all make mistakes, I do it all the time), and for you to write 2 paragraphs or more per post. Not expected pages and pages, in fact I advise against that if we want to make this fun and more casual than detailed. Quality over quantity, am I right?

I think I'm making this just because I want to see people's OCs lol; seriously though, I've always wanted to create an RP and manage one and see it be enjoyed by others, while getting the enjoyment out of writing it myself!

You can have up to four characters at any one time, but I don't suggest starting with 4 otherwise you might be overwhelmed. Also, for now they have to be lions. I'll reconsider this as the RP progresses though. NPCs can be brought in at any time as long as they are only there to be a nuisance to our characters or for some other plot reason. This is the character sheet I'd like you to complete:

Personality: Friendly, optimistic and always out for a laugh. Amira prides herself on her friendships and considers them very important; leaving her pride was hard because of this. She tries to be as down-to-earth and truthful as possible, but is capable of a white lie here and there. Sometimes she doesn't think before she speaks, which she always regrets. She is easily driven to become emotional, both negatively and positively, and used to be sensitive as a cub. Her sensitivity has gotten better over time, but it's still there.
History: Amira had a pleasant cubhood, a loving family and adoring friends. However, the life she had didn't feel quite right, and she wanted to experience the world. So she left, with no regrets and eventual support from her family.

Cheshi: show

Sexuality: Pansexual

Personality: Cheshi is an incredibly flirtatious young lion who often does not understand personal space (but will sod off if told enough times). He flirts with lionesses, other lions, even an occasional leopard or cheetah. He is confident in his good looks but doesn't obsess over them. He chooses his friends wisely and he avoids arguments and upset like the plague. He is an advocate for justice and believes everyone has what is coming to them if they do wrong. He is the sort of lion that would stay up with you inside the den if you were going through emotional trauma, but would feel everything you are going through with you.
History: Cheshi was unfortunate to grow up amidst a pridal war, in which his parents perished. He tried to look after his little brother, but lost him after a storm. He spent a year looking for him, still just an young adolescent. Luckily he came into the care of an older lion who made Cheshi feel less guilt over his cub brother, and who raised him into a confident, well groomed young adult who he was sure that he'd make a good life for himself. The elderly lion, was brutally murdered in the course of defending Cheshi by a few travelling members of the rival pride who had killed his parents. Cheshi has felt a burning passion for justice ever since, and a quest to find love and family.

Age: Adolescent (Teen/Young Adult)
Sexuality: Unknown, she's somewhat playful/flirtatious with females, but is that just a part of presenting as male?

Personality: Kuviza doesn't like admitting when she's wrong. She tries to keep her distance emotionally and often pretends nothing is bothering her even if it is. In order to avoid talking about herself or her emotions, she simply pretends to be fine, sometimes overcompensating in attempts at confidence. She behaves in a more masculine manner currently as a show, thinking she won't be teased about being boyish if she's thought to be a male. She wants to trust others, but even so she is distrustful even of those she considers friends, thus the deception about her gender and the tendency not to talk about herself much. When she does talk about herself, it's not always truthfully.
History: In her youth, she struggled emotionally with her androgynous voice and appearance; she was mistaken for a male many times, and because of the way the others talked about what makes a pretty lioness, grew insecure. Being teased by some of the other cubs, and having a name that means "curse, obliterate, destroy," she, as many will, went through a rather emotionally trying and angsty phase as a youngster and teen in which she wondered if she were even wanted or if anyone would ever miss her should something happen to her. She is now on her own, but for what reasons?
