I guess now is a good time to discuss how to introduce Kali into the story. Perhaps he suddenly appears, Zazu tells Kopa and Vitani that someone is there to see them and that's when they first meet him.

I think we should introduce Kali fairly soon so that we can start setting up the situation with him. KingMoto, feel free to start that whenever you're ready. Everyone else, at the moment, Rafiki is telling Vitani that they're about to face a great trial.

Very nice first post for him. I could picture it very well. I guess I'll go post for Kopa and see what happens next.

Also, since Rafiki is so old by now, does anyone mind me giving him a similar death to Master Oogway in "Kung Fu Panda"? I have an idea like that.

Well, to me anyway, the characters are very similar. My idea is this: midway through the story, Rafiki summons Kopa and/or Vitani (whatever we want) to a hilltop and begins to give them final words of wisdom. Following that, he gives his staff to an apprentice that he has been training and vanishes in a cloud of the plant stuff that let him know that Simba was alive.

That's pretty cool =] Anyway, what plans do you have for the story next? What exactly will Kali do?
