Anyway, yes you can have Mufasa. As for the sideplot, that's a great idea. It'll help the story. Now to decide what that sideplot should be...

Hm... There are a lot of plotbunnies that lay half-forgotten in my mind... A fortuneteller comes to town and is the original owner of The Genie, as well as the person who trapped him in the bottle and wants him back, there's a drought, Sarabi gets drunk (that would be amusing) and orders everyone to wear bird costumes, Mufasa realizes Scar is, well, Scar and tries to warn Simba about him but he and his wife are captured and held hostage, etc. I own a bunny petting zoo in my brain.

(Oh hey, I just realized Karma Points were changed to Pride Points)

Well, those sound like some interesting ideas. Nice work. I've been thinking about the sideplot as well, and I came up with ideas like a hostile kingdom threatens war with Agrabah, there's an attack by an infamous band of desert bandits, stuff like that.

Yeah, they did that in "Aladdin and the King of Thieves". Now that I think about it, we should try to shy away from doing stuff directly from Aladdin (except where needed) and do something new. Personally, I'm leaning towards the threat of war from a hostile kingdom.

Yaaaaaaaaay!!!!! I like that idea most, but don't we have to bring in OC's for the kingdom? Or maybe it could be the kingdom of the hyenas who are trying to help Scar take over by killing Mufasa and Sarabi while he tries to do away with Simba.
