Trials in the Pridelands (Open once again)

We're almost ready to show Simba, Nala and Vitani as young cubs for the first time. Like I stated previously, we'll start out with a scene of cubbie playfulness (consisting of Simba pouncing on Vitani as she's hanging out with Nala). Simba and 'Tani then roughhouse for a bit before either Mufasa or Sarabi (I don't care which one) overhears and stops them. Then, I guess some of their adventures and misadventures will be shown, along with some interludes of Scar and Zira plotting with the hyenas.

All right, since I didn't want the infant portion to go on forever, I moved ahead to showing Simba, Nala and Vitani as young cubs. This is the pouncing scene in which Simba pounces on 'Tani and they roughhouse a bit before Mufasa and/or Sarabi decides that it's gone on long enough. Following that, it's just cubbie adventures and interludes of Scar, Zira and the hyenas.

The cubbie stuff is in full swing. Nice work on playing Vitani, Kopalover. Now, I think we should have Simba, Nala and Vitani have an adventure of some sort, preferably one in which they somehow get in trouble. What they should do, however, I don't know. Amyz and Kopalover, I have it set up where either Nala or Vitani can suggest something.

Also, changa, I like how you threw Nuka in. That could possibly make the story interesting. I'm already thinking up possible stuff for later on with him.

I have now decided what is going to happen once Kopalover posts for Vitani:

The cubs go on a walk, but stay out too long as they're having fun. They then run into the hyenas. This is where I will set the scene for Zira's revelation later on, as Shenzi, upon seeing Vitani, remembers Scar and Zira's story about their first cub, who fit 'Tani's description, being taken from them. 'Tani tries to ask what Shenzi means, but Shenzi merely says that she won't deprive Scar or Zira of the pleasure of telling her themselves if they ever met. The hyenas then chase the cubs, but Zazu, who is flying over the area searching for the cubs at Mufasa's orders, sees this and tells the king. Mufasa scares off the hyenas, and Simba and Vitani are in trouble. I was also thinking of having a scene where Shujaa and Sarafina reprimand Nala.

It's going good. I'll bring in the hyenas in just a bit.

Also, I'm gonna be busy for a few days, possibly just a bit more. While I'm gone, can someone post as Simba for me in this RP? We're close to the scene where Simba, Nala and Vitani encounter the hyenas and I don't want to delay the RP just because I'm away. Just follow my notes in the planning thread. I will reclaim the role when I am able to log in again.

Ok, now is the hyena chase. Just as in the movie, Mufasa shows up, beats back the hyenas and then talks with Simba and Vitani after sending Nala home.

I'm gone today and will hopefully be back online later on. As I have asked, can someone post as Simba and Zazu for me? At the current part, we are with Scar, Zira, Nuka and the hyenas. In a moment, Zazu flies off to get Mufasa and he comes and saves the cubs. After sending Nala home, he reprimands Simba and Vitani and tells them of the great kings. After that, we'll find some other stuff and then have Simba, Nala and Vitani grow into adolescents.

All right, I guess we should have them return to Pride Rock. After that, I guess we should do some more cub stuff and then move on to their adolescence. In that part, we will have the beginning of Simba and Nala's romance and Vitani's encounter with Zira. After that, we'll have the scene where, after Vitani runs home, Mufasa tells her the true story of how she became part of the family.
