Trials in the Pridelands (Open once again)

I got it. Thanks. Anyway, we are now casted and I have submitted the play thread. While we wait for it's approval, I'll lay out the start plan:

. The story opens with Simba's presentation. The posts are mostly from Mufasa and Sarabi (I will make the opening post with Rafiki presenting Simba).

. Mufasa and Zazu confront Scar and Zira about not being at the ceremony (Zira is in the final stages of being pregnant with Vitani).

. Nala is born

. Vitani is born, Mufasa confronts Scar and Zira, Scar and Zira are exiled, Vitani is adopted into the royal family.

. Scar and Zira enter the Elephant Graveyard and meet the hyenas.

. Time passes and Simba, Nala and Vitani are seen as young cubs for the first time.

Ok, we're on a roll. Next after this scene is Nala's birth (and possibly Mufasa asking Sarafina if she wanted to betroth Nala to Simba if you guys wish), Vitani's birth, Scar and Zira's exile and the introduction of the hyenas. After that, we show Simba, Nala and Vitani as cubs for the first time (perhaps the girls could team up on Simba during a play-fighting match).

Anyway, I think we can (hopefully) get through Nala and Vitani's introductions, as well as the exile, Elephant Graveyard and the first scene of Simba, Nala and Vitani as cubs. From there, we just need to think up some ideas with them during that time. Perhaps they should do something wrong and get in trouble.

All right, Nala's been born, so now we have the scene where she's given her name and Zazu suggests that Mufasa betroth Simba to her. After that is Vitani's birth, Mufasa overhearing Scar and Zira's plot to kill Simba, their exile and Vitani's adoption and Scar and Zira meeting the hyenas in the Elephant Graveyard.

Ok, we just need the post where Sarafina gives Nala her name and then we can move on to bringing in Vitani.

I apologize for the delay in Nala receiving her name. Changa and I began a new subplot. We will name Nala shortly and then bring in Vitani.

Nala has now received her name and we're almost to the end of that part. Now we're about to bring in Vitani. Here's how that bit goes:

. Vitani is born and named.

. Scar and Zira begin talking about taking over Pride Rock and in the course of the conversation talk about killing Simba.

. Mufasa walks in just as they are saying that.

. There is a small confrontation and Mufasa orders them to come to Pride Rock with him, asking what 'Tani's name is as they are walking out.

. Scar and Zira are sentenced to exile and Vitani is adopted in to the royal family.

. Scar and Zira enter the Elephant Graveyard and meet the hyenas. This is where they decide to use them as part of their takeover plan.


Following that, we see Simba, Nala and Vitani as young cubs for the first time. While 'Tani is hanging out with Nala (they're good friends), Simba pounces on her from behind. Of course, she's not too thrilled about it.

We've brought in Vitani. Now she just needs her name and she will be adopted into the family. Scar and Zira will then go into exile and enter the Elephant Graveyard.

Following that, we will see Simba, Nala and Vitani as young cubs for the first time.

Ok, we're at the actual point where Vitani is adopted. At the moment, Mufasa and Zazu have brought her to the den and are showing her to Sarabi.
