Name: Chinook
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Pride: Wandering
Personality: As a cub, Chinook is outgoing and adventurous. He always leads his brothers and friends as they go exploring. He listens to everyone’s input and keeps an open mind. His curiosity has landed him in trouble on several occasions, but it also served to save Simba. He is the only cub in his pride who can properly keep up with Kovu and Kiara’s antics. As an adult, Chinook is more quiet and reserved, sometimes letting the others argue over things before making his own decision. He cares a lot for both his pride and the Pridelands. He is not much for talking, but is very observant, an excellent listener and a leader who can actually takes suggestions and opinions to heart.
Description: As a cub, Chinook has brownish-gold fur, Auburn-to-red eye color, and a black tuft of hair on his head. As an adult, he has a jet-black mane with bangs that go forward and downwards, and a body build similar to Simba’s.
Family: Brothers: Tau & Sefu; Father: Kafara; Mother: Maisha; Uncle: Aki
History: The first son of the leaders of the Wandering Pride, Chinook was a natural leader as he always helped his younger brothers and friends. He was raised and trained by his parents to be the future leader of his pride, and in fighting skills by his uncle. Chinook is the one the other cubs often turn to for advice or ideas on what to do. Upon the Wandering Pride entering the Pridelands, he saves Simba from an attacker, gaining the king's friendship.
Trivia: As an adult he is trained with his brothers and friends to be able to control their eyeshine.
Name Trivia: He shares his name with Native Americans and a military transport helicopter, neither of which he was named for. I named myself after him, not the other way around.
