Personality: Ari is a tomboyish lioness, although still an attractive one to the opposite sex nonetheless. She longs, in her group of friends, to just be "one of the guys," and as she grows older, she settles into this role handily. She is honest (sometimes brutally) and willing to tell others how she feels, and is always up for a good joke or prank--especially if it involves one-upping someone of the male gender! But Ari is a loyal lioness, and she is thankful for the bond between her and her friends and is crushed if anything comes between them. She has a very strong spirit and is hard to bring down, though when things do get to her, she can be very emotional. She is eager to learn and keen to make great relationships with others. She at times has trouble getting close emotionally to lions due to her past, but when she does become close, the bond is strong and accordingly painful when broken.
Description: Picture a similar build to Kiara, only with noticeably darker fur. Very sleek and very slender. Has deep amber eyes.

History: Ari is the daughter of the lion Mzuka and the lioness Nafsi. Mzuka was killed early on in her life, so she never had much of a father figure in her life. She came to the Pride Lands with her mother after Nafsi was recruited to fill out the pack of lionesses during Scar's reign. Since the pride she came from was depleted from constant outsider intervention, Nafsi accepted, hoping to find a stable place to raise Ari. Once in the Pride Lands, Ari took a liking to Hiroshi and as a result befriended him and his friend Kito and later Kweli.
