Personality: Peaceful and endearing, Anuli is an extremely kind-hearted lioness with an open mind, and a strong sense of morality. Even though she has been through a lot, this has not wavered her personality in any way, and she remains as loyal and loving as always, even if she might seem a little distant at times. Anuli has always felt like an outsider, even within her own pride, and this is enhanced more by the fact that other lions seem to avoid her, because they find her to be hard to approach and even harder to trust.
Description: Colours as seen in picture. Her light coat is varying shades of honey, tan and chocolate.
Other: Her striking red eyes are what set her apart from the rest of the Magharibi lions, and perhaps why others avoid her. Her eyes were black as cub but turned red as she got older.
History: Many would assume, growing up in a happy and relatively laid back pride, that Anuli had an easy life. They would be only partly correct. Anuli had a simple childhood, raised by her mother Nijera. However, her mother waited perhaps a little too long to have cubs, and as Anuli began to get older, it became obvious that her mother was sick. She watched helplessly as her mother died. Her only sibling, a male named Jaco, ran away from the pride shortly after this, and it is rumoured that he met the same fate as his mother.
Now alone, and with no family to care for her, Anuli's life began to change. With her mother dead and brother missing, Anuli feared that she would be cast out from the pride, since she no longer had a true place there. Thankfully however, the Pride Leader Jua was merciful enough to allow her to stay with them. Even so, it was obvious that she was secluded from the others, even if she were still a part of the Pride.
Struggling to find her place in a Pride which no longer feels like home, Anuli was glad for the arrival of the newcomer Tajiri. When Jua welcomed him to join them, she had hope that maybe she would now find her place, with the help of this other. They could be outsiders within the pride together, perhaps...
Position: Huntress, however she is low in the pride hierarchy.
