Personality: Zende is a happy, bouncy cub in a grown lion's body. He loves to meet others and make friends with anything and everyone, and wouldn't dare to hurt someone unless it was for a good reason. Zende has barely any existence of a temper, but when it's irked, the effects of his anger can wind up getting someone severely injured. Zende enjoys the company of lionesses as he loves the warm attention they give to him (though he overlooks the 'romantic' attention he gets from them as well), but still has male friends. Zende looks up to older male lions and likes to mimic what they do, as he is trying to figure out what it means to be an adult male.
History: Zende was born to a single mother, him being her only cub. He was raised with having no father figure and was only taught by his mother the basics of being a lion, as she was not very keen on becoming part of a pride. When Zende was a year old, he traveled with his mother around the Pridelands and learned all about the environment he lived in. He enjoyed his mother's company and would often hang around with her instead of going off and exploring on his own.
When Zende asked about his father, all Cyrah told him was that she was in love with him, but she couldn't give him what he wanted and so they had to go their separate ways. But she never regretted it since she was so happy to have Zende. Zende was always so curious about his father and why his father never came to meet him, but he put it in the back of his mind in case he never got to meet him.
When Zende was 2 years old, he met his best friend, Bengi, and went to Bengi's pride with him. Zende's mother still didn't want any part in a pride, so she allowed him to go on his own to the new pride. Although Zende was sad to leave her, he knew she didn't want what he did, and so he went back to her. A few weeks later, his mother chased him off because she knew it wasn't best for him to stay with her the rest of his life. Afterwards, Zende entered the Rising Suns Pride again, and met more friends. He became best friends with two lionesses, Callie and Kefira, and his best guy friend, Bengi.
