Appearance: Kiada is relatively plain. It would be safe to say she got the shallow end of the gene pool when it comes to an eye-catching appearance; having a relatively nondescript sand colored pelt and beige subpelt. The individual digits on her paws are of the same overall color as her main pelt, although her dark brown eyes roughly match the color of her tail tuft. Her dark, almost red nose is that of the “Pridelander” shape. In Kiada’s favor, though, her lean frame is muscular and well groomed, showing her skills and health. Next to her sister, she is as plain as can be. But when away from the glare of Zuri’s beauty, she offers a simpler sight.
Personality: For all of her lacking appearance, Kiada possesses a wealth of knowledge and understanding. Always a good listener, even if not one to immediately engage another in conversation. The lioness is a little insecure about her appearance as her sister is often fawned over, and as result, is a little unsure of herself. But even though she won’t really stand up for herself, often laughing off comments that bother her, Kiada develops a ‘persona’ as she matures into a presence that demands respect without ever saying a word, being one of those people that can command silence simply by approaching another.
History: Born to a pair of rogues, she and her family often roamed, going from pride to pride. Their stay depended on the hospitality of the pride they were currently visiting, though they moved on. Quite a few lions and lionesses have been in their lives, although Kiada never did like leaving her newfound friends behind. She accepted it as a fact of life with their wandering parents, however, and never voiced those thoughts.
In the past few months, though, as she and Zuri neared adulthood, they were allowed to go off on their own. Kiada views it as her responsibility to help her sister survive their travels, knowing that Zuri still enjoyed the ceaseless wandering, seeing it all as a grand adventure. Eventually, though, Kiada is hoping to find a permanent pride.
Skills: Shamanistic herbs are Kiada’s caste, knowing what heals and what hurts. Hunting is a natural trait for her, while she is surprisingly capable of combat. Her unassuming pelt means that she has yet to fight and gain permanent scars.
