Appearance: He easily stands 5 feet at the shoulder, and weighs close to 500 pounds. Amri’s build is in between the standard Outlander and Pridelander, slender muscle belying his flowing strength. It noticeably ripples underneath his burnished gold pelt, and pale tawny subpelt, but is not as bulky as some lions. Even so, though; he makes a deadly opponent. His mane and tail tuft are a thick onyx, as dark as the starless night sky. The rouge-turned-king’s eyes are a piercing and calculating viridian green, but such a shade that it is difficult to discern what is really going on in his mind. The lion’s nose resembles that of a Pridelander, but near his left cheek is marred by four faded scarlet scars from a past battle. He usually walks with his dark claws partially unsheathed, and his black pads are hardened from travel and training.

Personality: Much like his eyes, it is often difficult to tell what he is truly thinking what with his usual indifference. He is able to put on a front if he feels he needs to, and always looks out for the best interest of himself. If he sets his sights on something, though, he will not relent until it is within his grasp — Even if he must connive and twist things to get his way. He is, at times, cool and calculating as well. Yet, conflicting with that nature; is a protectiveness to those he feels have grown close to him or captured his interest. Those he will guard with his life if necessary, whether or not they appreciate it. He enjoys a challenge and spar/battle, though, and oftentimes will refuse to back down from one. However, he is also very territorial over what he claims; be it land or lioness. Yet, that is partially what makes him a suitable King. It may take a little while to earn it, but once one is accepted into his Pride he is quite unforgiving to those that threaten his cretin unless they are otherwise spoken up for. Amri does have a bit of an ego at times, though. Underneath all of that, though, is a rare affectionate side reserved for a select few.

History: Born into a rather obscure pride, his first few months were rather uneventful and peaceful. He learned of lore and some hunting from the other lionesses, as to make him equally useful to the pride later on. However, when he was six moonspans old, a different pride migrated into their quaint territory. His father and the intruding lion battled for supremacy, all of the observers knowing only one would survive. Amri’s aging father eventually succumbed to his wounds, drenching the young cub’s life in scarlet early on.

Being just old enough that the new King did not kill him; however, he was then set to work in training. Honing his skills and senses for battle, much like the rest of the freshly joined pride. Amri’s dark claws soon grew accustomed to the dusky parlor of strife as he grew, his demeanor changing to reflect his teachings. The once playful and curious cub had turned into a conniving and deadly adolescent, and a foe that no one wanted — Even in sparring. While he did not draw more blood than was necessary, his thirst for vengeance drove him to be every bit as lethal as the new King within a year. Due to this, Amri was exiled when the King’s blood-son was born, as to prevent him from killing the cub for revenge.

The next year was spent mellowing out, crystal clarity joining his killer’s mind. Pondering on the past and future helped teach him patience, among other things which would help him in his life. His temperament and goals soon pinpointed within six moonspans of wandering as a rouge, calculations setting ahead of time. However, he also began gathering other rouges — Creating his own pride.

Within a year it had reached the numbers of his original one, before the invaders had trounced in. He still seeks to gather other rogues into his ensemble, to strengthen his numbers and bonds among the lionesses and one adolescent male he’d recruited. Ones of all types and personalities had joined him, creating quite the array. He only had left to choose his Queen … A match, rather than one that feared him in the back of their minds like the rest of the pride. His rule was unrivaled, though, and voluntarily so.

Skills: Unlike most male lions, Amri is a skilled hunter from his time as a rouge. He also has managed to excel in climbing and swimming, partially out of necessity to survive and partially to better his capabilities. The golden and onyx lion has also developed quite the eye for opportunities, as well.

I don't see an issue with that Kina, just as long as her character stays in tact. ^^ From what I gather about your writing style however, I don't think that'll be a problem at all though, just as long as you run stuff by me first like you said. I'm flattered that you'd want to include one of my OCs in your Fan Fic and this just makes me even more eager to want to read it. lol.
