Species: Panthera Leos (Lion)

Appearance: The dust colored lioness is very petite for her age, and hasn’t grown in well over a year now. Slender muscle ripples underneath her dust pelt and sandy sub-pelt, while she has two spots of slightly longer hair on her elbows and a longer tuft as whole on her head. Her tail tuft is a muddy brown. Tifu’s body could almost be considered scrawny were she entirely unhealthy, were it not for the fact she keeps herself in as good of condition as her surroundings will allow. Her dark claws aren’t shy about coming out in a flash, and are just as piercing as her pale amber gaze.

Personality: Tifu is generally fairly agreeable on fair circumstance, although she isn’t afraid to say things as they are. When annoyed, her tongue can cut as deep as her claws. Being that she’s long accustomed to having to make her own path; Tifu isn’t easily intimidated despite her small size. A size that she is somewhat sensitive about. Jibes about it are quick to anger her, unable to let others think she’s useless or weak because of it. But once respect is given, because it goes both ways in her mind, she is much more amiable, and even agreeable. Although she hasn’t minded wandering on her own, she has missed talking with others on a regular basis. But a certain wariness remains in her manner during the first encounter, understandably.

History: Tifu’s mother wasn’t very old when she gave birth to her single cub, which seemed to stunt the formers’ growth and the latter’s size as whole. The dust colored cub never was as large as her peers, and in such a large pride, was teased a bit for it. But there is something about the small ones to look out for – They’re a lot stronger than one might initially think. Especially when irritated.

But as she grew, the highly active cub reached her full size maturity early on. To compensate for her small size, she decided she’d make up for it in speed and expertise compared to the others her age. Determined to outmatch them, per se. In her early adolescence she could already take on the cubs born around the same time as her, males included, and win if she kept herself from being pinned. It didn’t take them too long to figure that out, though, forcing her to redouble her own training to stay on top during sparring.

She was barely a moon older than a year and a quarter when she decided to leave, though. The pride was simply too large to make use of her size properly, seeing as she was consistently kept at the den rather than being allowed to hunt with the rest. Leaving forced her skills to continue improving as she wandered here and there, rarely staying in one place for long at a time. The first few moons it was simply adventure and unrestrained freedom, although it did eventually get a little lonely to her. Tifu had gotten into more than one scuffle during her travels, though, learning both about the world and its inhabitants. Not always in the best way, either.

Skills: From wandering on her own for over a year and a half, she’s become proficient at both hunting and fighting. She’s had to, to survive. She’s also not too shabby at fishing should she need to.
