Lioness sea serpent cross

Description

Long and flowy body, reminiscent of a sea snake. She has an aqua colored body with lighter muzzle, paws, etc. Violet colored eyes and long 'whiskers' like a chinese dragon. She has spiny fins that travel down her back, and her tail is thick and long with a fin on the end of it.

One distinguishing mark
--the fins, I guess...

Personality

Young, but wise and intelligent. A peacemaker. She would rather negotiate things out than fight, but she will if she has to.

She does not make friends or trust easily at first, but once you are her friend and gain her trust, it's for life.

She is not looking for a mate, as her previous one died and she swore to never again fall in love.

Abilities

She can swim for long periods of time, and hold her breath indefinitely. She can use water to do whatever she wants with it, such as dousing fires, causing mini 'WHOing' sessions, flood people with it, etc.

She can't do anything unless she already has water around her, however--she can't conjure it.

History

She was raised on land by her lioness mother, who has the same violet eyes as 'Quila. She was raised away from other lions in some den somewhere, where her mother told her stories of her sea-dragon father, who had disguised himself as a normal lion and seduced her mother.

'Quila's mother was still in love with the dragon that had given her her daughter, and one day, when Aquila was about five years old, her mother collapsed and began to die. It was then the father showed up in his lion form, but Aquila simply knew it was him.

The father lay down with the mother until she died, then blessed Aquila with a long life before going back to the wild seas in which he belonged.
