Name: Elsa
Species: Lion
Gender: Female
Pride: Pridelander
Physical Traits: Has the traditional lion coat color with beautiful amber eyes.
Personality: Trusting, depending, is a guardian, sweet, and loyal to the end. she also has a sense of humor, but can get nervous, especially from more aggressive lions
Other: Elsa was a real lioness. she was the star in Born Free written by Joy Adamson who raised her after her mother had been shot by George Adamson who didn't know that the lioness was protecting her cubs. Joy didn't want Elsa in a zoo, but wanted to reintroduce her to the wild, which had never successfully been done before. After a long struggle, Elsa was finally released and she learned how to hunt for herself, but was still a little nervous of the wild lions. She soon got pregnant though and birthed three healthy cubs named Jespah, Gopa, and Little Elsa. Unfortunately, she died a few months after birthing from a parasitic tick disease called Babesia, which had never been reported to kill a lion before. luckily, her cubs were set free once more in the Serengheti National Park where, hopefully, they Lived Forever Free and created prides of their own. This is for Elsa, who touched the hearts of the world in a way we shall never forget. Elsa: Jan 1956-Jan. 24, 1961.
