Zalika was a big daydreamer, always dreaming of love. One day, he noticed two lionesses and a lion walking in the savannah. They didn't belong to his Pride, but Zalika fell in love with one of the lionesses. He was so excited to fall in love that he left his family and started to follow the group. Eventually he caught up with them when they were in a Pride of their own and confessed his love for the lioness. The lioness (called Hala) wanted to know more about him and then she fell in love with him too.
The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
