Yatima was raised by a mean lioness who hated cubs. Her parents died when she was very young. Yatima had a tough life, but decides to leave as a teenager and find a better life. Something was missing from her life and she realised it was love. She would smile at the thought of finding someone who loved her, but would feel down at the end of a day when she hadn't found that someone. Soon, she finds Nemsi who is also an orphan. They fall in love and they find the Utendaji Pride and she likes her new home.
The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
