Sabiha was born in a large Pride. Her mother was very caring, but her father wanted a son and therefore hated her. She was forced to work hard from a young age. She fell in love with a young lion. They loved each other very much, but then he left her without a warning. She asked her father why this was and he just said it was his time to go. Sabiha was very upset. Soon, Sabiha met Hamza. He was treated badly too, having not been an offspring of the current leader of the Pride. She loved to stargaze with him. When they were teens, they caused a strike. When the leader found out, he sent his warriors to attack the others. There was a massive fight, with loss of life on both sides. When it was over, the male lion went to attack Hamza, but Hamza's mother intercepted. Hamza was knocked out cold, but his mother was dead. She had managed to injure the male lion so badly that he wandered off to care for his wounds. Sabiha rushed over to Hamza and prayed he would survive. She carried out of the Pride and far away where she tried to revive him. He woke up and together they walked until they found the Utendaji Pride, where they told their stories.
The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
