Name: Basma Meaning: A Smile Age: Varies Gender: Female Pride: Utendaji Mate: Imarika Friends: The rest of the Utendaji Pride Likes: Imarika, sharing her story and her friends Dislikes: Being away from home, being different and sorrow Pelt: Brown Eyes: Green Mane/tail: Dark brown Personality: Motherly, needs building in confidence and accepting Musical related to: Honk Basma was always teased because she was different. The rest of her family/Pride were light coloured with Pridelander noses and coloured toe tips. She prefers having a simple life and thinks it is the best way. Because she was constantly picked on, she left her Pride. When she met Imarika, she fell in love straight away. He had left his Pride in search for love. He told her that someone will love her no matter what she looks like. They have a cub together, but the cub goes missing and Basma starts to feel despair and sorrow. Imarika comforts her and then they find the Utendaji Pride. Basma feels happy again, but doesn't know what happened to her cub. The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical. Basma was designed by me!
