Well this particular picture is scrapped/garbage/experimental, but...I'm juiced. The more I think about the theory that Kopa escaped Zira by fleeing into hiding with Asante, the more inspired by it I get. I adore both characters, & since in the fandom only Kopa surpasses hyenas on Zira's "most frequently slain" list, this keeps them both safe. Just off-camera, too, so that Kopa and Asante can each return alive & well to their own respective homes when grown & strong/confident. Then Kiara, who balked at being queen, & Kovu, who wasn't really comfortable in the Pridelands lifestyle, can take a powder & finally run away together. And I finally have a vehicle for all kinds of dorky hyena stuff! Maybe even the incedental sitcom or dramatic comic!
