These two beautiful lions are the founders of the Pridelands, in my Lion King Universe! Kanu, meaning wild cat, was second born to the lions of the Eastlands. He decided that he wanted to go find his own lands, even though he had his own spot in the circle of life in the Eastlands. He found the Pridelands, having seen pride rock. He decided to go check it out. There he met a teen lioness, well, he thought he had met a teen lioness. Aziza, meaning precious, was the runt and the only girl to a nice pair of lions that were from the Outlands. Their ruler wasn't very kind, and decided to exile Aziza. The lioness found the Pridelands and appointed herself queen. And when Kanu appeared, she had all of the animals of the Pridelands to help protect her and their land. It was decided then by a hornbill, Bina who had taken it upon herself to help Aziza out around the pridelands, suggested to let him stay and help protect the Pridelands. Seeing as he was a lot bigger than Aziza, and Aziza could use the help. They soon fell in love and blah blah blah. The end.
