I've been playin' around with the theory that Zira's cubs are Scar and Sarabi's grandchildren. Sarabi and Vitani actually look a like. Sarabi even has a small 'head tuft' which could have been where Vitani gets her tuft! Vitani even has Sarabi's soft cheeks!
