'What do you mean you chose them over me?' Sudi asked. Zalika looked at him. His eyes were starting to get watery, and he looked as if he was going to cry.
'Yes. I guess I did.' She replied.
'But... but... I'm your brother!' He yelled painfully.
'Yeah.. that's it. Your my brother, not my friend. My duty lies with my friends, my subjects. Sorry, Sudi.' With a flick of her tail, she walked away with her head held high.
'But...' He began to say. She could hear the crack in his voice, and knew he was crying. She didn't want to talk to him anymore, so she kept walking. Leaving Sudi staring at her in shock.
'...I thought I was your friend.'

Just an image of Zalika telling her brother that she no longer wants to hang around him. Her friends told her either she chooses them or her brother. She chose them, because she has a 'reputation' to hold. I wonder if their parents will be happy about this?
I like the expression in their eyes. Zalika is mean. Her poor brother. I read on his charater sheet on how his name means 'Lucky' in Swahili. He's not so lucky right now.
