Yep. I consider Vitani to be part of it. She is Kovu's sister after all~ And yes. The background is based off the scene where Simba asks Sarabi if he and Nala can go to 'The Watering Hole'.

Kiara and Kovu are meant to look young, with my version of them having their cubs, they start off with having Iza right after TLK2. Which to me, means they're basically teenage parents.

I also noticed that they did look a little young when they got married after Zira's death scene. And yes, Vitanni being Kovu's sister would make her as part of the royal family.
