Nala ran away from the den and away from the malicious and insane King Scar. She found a place be alone, and laid down to cry. She had to cool down, she had to think.
Between "Madness of King Scar" and "Shadowland". I figure she just needed to cool down a bit before coming to the conclusion of leaving.
