I love traditional so that was perfectly fine. I cant do traditional very well at all. So it will be stuck being in digital. But I got it sketched out now. It is just waiting to be inked.

I will be making one request the end of next week. If you want a chance to win that spot check out my journal. That is the best I can do really. I don't do requests on a normal bases or there would be way too many coming in and pictures take close to a day to finish. If you want to do an art trade sometime keep your eyes out. This semester is fairly easy so there may be a few art trades happening once I have the flow of coursework figured out. But check out my journal so you can be at least in the running there. I will pick whoever it picks.

It is fun. I might do a few over this year. If you are not picked watch for art trades to open... maybe in June. I move in May so I don't think I will have time that month but by June I may open up an art trade spot or two.

I LOVE it. One of my fav. pictures done of her in the 10 years she has been around. You captured her perfectly. Yours will be up tomorrow. I got it sketched and then ran into a tiny 2GB problem when my friend sent me a file that is STILL coming in. With it coming in my computer is not interested in letting me work on large pictures in photoshop. But as soon as it is done I am getting in there and doing it. I can't promise it for tonight but I do promise it for tomorrow at the latest.

That is a more complicated answer then you might have imagined it to be. LOL. Timitu is based off someone other then myself. So technically speaking he is not. Often times people will draw him as such and I don't really mind at all when they do. After all they are drawing Timitu, and my artist name is Timitu. So in a way he represents me, but we have almost NOTHING in common when you get down to the character for him to be a 'sona of mine. Nora and Sima are actually two characters designed based on myself. That is one reason you never see them together. Hope that helps.

I love it... Thank you so much. I love traditional stuff so it is all good. As I said in the comment I will get yours done for you by next weekend. With exams I don't want to rush though it. And while it is sketched already, inking can make or break it and is my least favourite part of doing a picture. If I feel rushed it could look really bad. So once exams are over I can relax and work on art.

I am semi back right now. I am VERY busy today and tomorrow but I will be coming back over this weekend with a journal (about an art project and art trades) and hopefully some pictures again after such a long time away. But I have not forgotten about this place. You will see me around again soon.

As long as it is not Levar, that is fine. Cause no one on the internet world knows anywhere near enough information about him to use them fully as their own character. Though I know some who have tried but it completely ruins him when someone else tries to play out him.

Do you want the tuff to be like Kovu's or no tuff at all? I cant change the line art or I have to change all the shading and stuff, which is more work then it is worth for an icon. So let me know and I will get started right away. EDIT: I need to know soon. I am only going to be online a little longer. If I don't hear back in the next hour I will just do it one way and that will be the way it will have to be done. It will still look nice but may not be how you wanted it.

I wont lie... the pen tool was the hardest thing for me to learn. Probably is for most people. Though it is probably the most worth while tool to learn to use on Photoshop. I personally learned from searching on youtube. Unfortunately I cant find the video I learned from to share with you. I might make one to help people out though my knowlage of it is still basic. But perhaps that is just the kind of tutorial most people need when first using it cause it can be frustrating very fast. How I learned it was I told myself one day, I drew a not so detailed headshot of one of my characters and told myself I was not to exit out of the picture. After watching a few tutorials on youtube I went at it. My first picture took a long time to complete but over time it has become second nature and it is much easier. So my suggestion is look for good youtube tutorials as they really SHOW you how to do it. And be stubborn with yourself and practice. Within a few pictures you will feel a lot better at using it. I wish you luck. I will see if I can get a tutorial done in the next few days that may help out. If I do I will share the link here for you.

Depends what picture really. Street paintings obviously are no program. Any older ones that look sketchy are done only in Photoshop CS. And old ones with smooth lines are done in Photoshop CS and Flash MX. New ones are done only in Photoshop CS as my computer with Flash is out of commission for a while till I get a monitor. I have videos of how many of my things are done on Youtube. From the old ways to the new way.

What is EBC? I let any Lion King fans join. I have been running it for 11 years now and we have had as many as 130 artists on year. (This year we are at 67 I think.) So small but good group. Sign ups are closed now but I run mini ones though-out the year as well if you ever want to join. It is a lot of fun.

Cool. I had never heard of them before. Mine has been going on for the past 11 years so I think I have only ever taken part in one before. The sign ups are closed for mine but you can check out the page to see how it is done. We also have a facebook group that will allow you to get messages when secret santa's are happening. (I only use it for secret santas Minis and the big one. So it stays with that stuff.)
