I had done the one with the same picture every 4 years but it is even more interesting to look at each year what I have created. At the beginning there was a big jump each year but it seemed to stay quite steady lately it was hard to see any improvement till you put it all together. I also thought it would be interesting to share as I have been drawing for a long time now but only started sharing my pictures on here a couple of years ago.
I started drawing back in Gr.9 when I was 15 years old. Now I am 28... (I am guessing if I said the first part you could figure out the second part.) In high school I did not have that much of a life besides my friends and doodling. Unfortunately at my age now life gets in the way far too often. But I always try to sneak in a doodle or two when I get the chance.
Thank you. It is nice to look back. It reminds me how far I have come, and who knows what is next. I love watching people grow as an artist, but I always forget to look back and see I also came a long way.
I am pretty sure if I showed the 2014 picture to myself back in 2001 and said I would do that someday I would not believe my future self. But it does happen gradually. Some years there was a faster jump but I also did over 300 pictures during those years. Now I am lucky to get to 50 each year. Life just gets in the way too often now days.
