Khumba growled as he stood on the cliff. "What is this? They are not following my law! This is my pride!" He growled to his friend, Zazar, who was in the cave. Zazar sighed, "I don't know Khumba. Maybe it's because no one is willing to listen to someone they think is insane. Heck, I don't even know why I'm here.." he trailed off, sighing deeply as he went further back in the cave so he couldn't hear Khumba. "Ugh. You do know why you're here, you just deny it." Khumba rolled his eyes, glaring at the cave entrance. He looked up at the sky, growling. "Idiots, the lot of them! They should listen to me, I can make their lives worth something, unlike how my father treated them. Maybe if I prove he's not suited to be leader..?" Khumba muttered, jumping down a rocky trail to where the other lions, along with his father, stayed. "Hello? Arsalan? I know you 'banished' me from this pride, but let me back. I can prove it was Nyla." Khumba said, and Arsalan glared at him, snarling. "Get out of here Khumba, you are not allowed." Nyla looked up, shaking slightly. She held her a small cub close to her, and Khumba noticed. He went over, taking it from her. "Khumba! Give her back her cub!" Arsalan roared in anger, stepping towards his sun as Nyla stodd up, growling. "Give me my cub!" She cried out, and Khumba glared as he started running. sorry the story trails off from the picture, just got into typing. I'll probably make a second part to finish the story soon, bye! :3
