I feel like I've seen a couple other pics here of the TLK characters as horses, and that gave me inspiration to do this piece. I hope it's not against the rules, though I don't believe this to be the case. ^^
Anyhow, yeah. Simba as a horse. I tried to blend my own equine style with the style of TLK, so that he looks like a mix of a horse and a TLK-style lion. I tried to keep some very horse-like features and coloring (the colors are actually picked directly from Simba, but I think as a horse he looks like a chestnut pangare... so that's what I made him, lmao).
BTW, as a finishing note, I did not ref from the movie Spirit, nor was I attempting to replicate that style exactly. I just really like horses, and I was drawing them long before I saw that movie. ^^ If you don't believe me, I challenge you to find a pic from the movie with a foal in this pose or a foal that looks like this. xD lol
Oh, and since he looks like a real horse, here's his info and genotype. Maybe I'll make a character with this design later.
