Calling this what I did for multiple reasons. One because I cannot figure out what I myself want to call it, and since Rien himself is on the same page.
Still going nuts with lensflares. Since I am learning how to do them traditionally. Not much I can say about this, sept enjoy the pic!
I love this piece of yours! The colors is exceptional, which I like, and the pose/angle is simply brilliant! I've been trying to get my angles right for months, but this is just you showing off, ain't it? Anyways, amazing artwork! I love Rien btw ^^
Thanks a lot! They take practice to get down. Anatomy stuff always helps. And likely an odd thing to do. I tend to partially reinact the scene I am trying to draw, with however many characters I am drawing, to get a feel of how some angles should sit, etc. You can look like an idiot at times when doing so, but ehh, I do it anyway. One time in class, I was flipping my locks back, to try and get how upward hair movement should be drawn. My teacher asked what I was doing. That was my reply. XD
I could be, lol jk I like to challenge myself with angles and other things when I draw.
You're worm holms. Yea, the anatomy stuff is kind of hard at first for me, but I don't want to continue with headshots, I need to experiment with full bodies, half bodies etc... I tend to do the same thing, actually. Sometimes I even mimic their facial expressions as I'm drawing, but I feel as though most people do that, it just naturally comes to me. I was practicing facial expressions on my characters at lunch time at school once and my friends thought I was on drugs or something I'm not one to enjoy challenges, heh. I just do what I do. But whenever I'm in the mood, I love to experiment, it improves my hand coordination nonetheless, and advances my ability in what I do. Coming from an amateur artist, this seems like a lot but it's what I do. Some days I have really good drawings and then other days I let the unnecessary weight hold me down and get me upset. It's odd, but sometimes it helps actually. OH WHOA OFF TOPIC ....and this is really long.
I recently got into headshots. I tend to do what I am fancing for. "Stay away from parmagon cheese."
Heehee, I have gotten in trouble doing that once. Like I was mimicing the biting lip thing. The teacher thought I was lipping some [angry words of censorship] That went well. I like to test what I can do with art, games, etc. Nearly everything.
I'd do what I'm comfortable with, not something that bugs me. Challenges are comfortable to me. So do what ya do, with what you like, don't let anyone change that.
I always like to pour my emotion on to the paper. Sometimes I draw something embrace my feelings. Other times, I do the opposite, to try and change my mood.
Headshots are my thing, really. But I don't like to stick to one idea. I just go with whatever I want to do.
Usually, nobody minds when I do stuff like that, since I'm already the 'Artsy' and 'unusual' person at school, which I actually like as a reputation.
I'm not comfortable with many things but I like to try new stuff all the time. When I'm stressed, I draw. Drawing relieves all the tension in me and makes me feel relaxed. But I can't feel utterly satisfied without music additionally.
Not when you go to draw to cool off, and your method is cramming the pencil through your binder to draw. Have done that far too many times. One time rather recently, fighting an AT that just does not want to come onto the paper. I have the image in my head, but it refuses to go onto paper.
