This goes with my Zira story I've been developing for so long. There will be a short comic about that. Whether or not this will be my "canon" for all of my stories or not, I'm not sure. I'm thinking so.
This was initially a concept sketch that I wanted to try inking with my tablet. I'm pleased with the results. Here, I think it's pretty obvious, Zira is trying to get Uru's attention, but she is ignoring her daughter, and Taka doesn't understand why, as she was always very loving with him and Mufasa.
I may go in and add a background and shading later, but I also may not.
