This is a fic that takes place (thus far) during SP, under the pretense that Kiara and Vitani are in love, not Kiara and Kovu. The quick summation of this chapter is this:
Kovu comes to the Pride Lands just as it happened in the movie. He starts flirting with Kiara, and she, in an attempt to allow his family, and Vitani specifically, to be allowed into the Pride Lands, feigns interest in him with the intention of marrying him and bringing his family back so that she could be with Vitani in secret here. Meanwhile, Vitani spies on them, and gets the impression that Kiara really cares for Kovu, thus bringing her to start hating her brother.
