Finally I'm back from a long span of inactivity, you guys probably don't remember me but I'm back now. Anyways this is my new character Elios (Eipo), I drew him both traditionally and digitally and I was just wondering which one do you like better?
I like them both! The digital one is much more vivid than the traditional one, but simple editing of contrast and colour in PS, Gimp, or SAI would make it just as vivid. It's really cool you can do digital stuff now! Or am I wrong on that part? But the traditional one the colours blend better, especially the black highlights in their mane.
Thanks! Really?! I didn't know that I'll have to try it later! Well, I can sort of do digital stuff now but I'm still learning, blending continues to be quite tricky.
Welcome! If you're using Photoshop, you would go to the Image tab, scroll to Adjustments, it then will give you a list of setting to change. Your options should have Auto Levels, Auto Colour, and Auto Contrast, up to the top of that list. If your scan was set default colour and contrast; 0. And the paper you started with was white, pick Auto Levels. Then you should be good to go. It's what I do with mine.
