Keme's siblings were killed and he was spared because he was told he y: wasn't even worth the time that was how he discovered his element surrounded by only darkness he found could manipulate it but did so uncontrollably. He doesn't want to disappoint anyone but believes he will never be good enough so he tries to make sure that the blame for his failure can only be placed on him. Due to this he seen as a rebel and troublesome he is quite hard to handle and is disobedient.
