Simba had returned, the fire broke out, and Scar betrayed them. Sure, they got their revenge; they ripped the bugger to shreds... But they had to face the facts... Things had to change. A lot of the clan left Shenzi, not trusting her rule over them any longer after she had lead them so astray, but many stayed with her. Especially Banzai and Ed; they could never leave her. Not after how much they had gone through together. But Shenzi still felt a great sense of regret, and guilt. How could she have allowed herself to blindly follow a lion like Scar? How could she betray her clan in such a way? She was a horrible leader. Walking at the back of the clan, holding her head low as the rain soaked her coat, Ed would walk up beside her. "Ed, I aint in the mood, alright?" She said with a growl, expecting some of his silly antics. But instead, he nuzzled his head against hers, letting out a supportive noise. Shenzi's growl slowly went silent, and she allowed herself to smile. Even after all that had happened between them, she still had her friends... And with that simple acceptance from Ed, she felt alright again. "Thanks Ed..."
