Angel grinned as she delved into the crowd. It was like the highschool parties she'd snuck into, except much more crowded and less dangerous. It only took a moment for her to realize Pheonix was trailing behind her. "Why aren't you eye-murdering Jason right now?" She asked, falling into step with him.
He shrugged, his thick forearm brushing her arm. "Penelope can handle herself and Jason probably won't try anything. Besides, you're, like, running away from us. We're going to lose you if someone doesn't stalk you."
"Just put a collar on me or chip me, besides, that'd be some tragedy." She turned eagerly to watch a craps table, too soon to hear Pheonix murmur 'Yeah, it'd be terrible". She shrugged again then glanced back at Penelope and Jason. "Merh. Dancing sounds fun." With that she darted back towards them.

"You're going to get me killed," Jason laughed drily. It was so true it wasn't even funny. Fortunately, when he glanced around, Pheonix wasn't there. "Okay, maybe not so dead." He grinned a little, letting himself enjoy the dance. He'd kinda zoned out before he noticed Angel sidling up to a dark-haired guy that looked about 21 with some serious sleeves. To his surprise, she was successful and was out next to him and Penelope in only a minute or two.
"Guys love blondes," she whispered to him, as if to explain. With that she spun around and draped her arms over her partner's shoulders and turned on her flirt. Now Pheonix was eye-killing someone as he skulked around, but it wasn't Jason.
