"We have to gather everyone first. Next stop: Knuckles!" Tails said cheerfully. Sonic had a warm grin.
Oh, great. Here we go. Adofo thought to himself, as they jumped down from the rooftops and started to walk.
"So, where does Knuckles usually hang out?" Vitani asked.
"You're going to have to wait on the ground while I air-lift Sonic up," Tails said. "Look up."
They looked to the sky, to see a huge island floating in the sky.
"What is that?" Kiara asked, startled.
"That, my friends," Sonic said.
"Is where Knuckles lives."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Huh....weird.
(Don't feel like writing right now.)

"He can fly." Tails explained. "It's in his genes."
"So his kids with Kelsey may have the ability to fly, too?" Vitani asked.
"Well they don't have kids yet, but it may be that those kids can fly. Er, glide mostly." Tails answered.
(Mobile.
I heard there was a shooting in Texas yesterday. You ok?)

[Adofo]

(nope. I'm a ghost haunting MLK)
Adofo: Oooooookay. So I guess we'll wait here.
Sonic: Yeah.
Tails picks up Sonic and they fly to get the others.

Once they got up there, Adofo was staring in awe.
"How big is this island?!" Kovu said. "It's gorgeous!"
"Oh, god. I don't know. Acres, at the least." Sonic said.
"Hundreds of acres." Tails added. "You could put the Priderock territory here twice with room to spare."
"Wow. That's huge." Vitani said.
"Okay guys, be careful. Knuckles is very good at hiding things, including himself. One time it took us hours to find him. You have to be aware of the traps he sets up. And he also makes it very easy to go in circles." Sonic said. "Stay together."
They went off, and it took them about 15 minutes to find a clearing. In the middle were beige colored steps, covered in dust. On the top was a large green gem, and a red silhouette laying on top.
"Knuckles!" Sonic shouted.
Nothing.
"His favorite thing to do is ignore me!" Sonic said impatiently. "KNUCKLES! I KNOW YOU'RE UP THERE!"
Nada.
"KNUCKLES, COME ON! ARE YOU GOING DEAF?"
Absolute jack.
"I'M COMING UP THERE!"
"Would you shut up?" Said a deep, yet strangely familiar masculine voice. "That's a fake. I'm right behind you."
The group turned around, to see Knuckles. He still had the emotionless feeling in his purple eyes. His quills were a little longer, as well as his spikes. (Since it was about 4 years since LK4, he was in his early 20's)
"Whoa." Kiara said. "You're definitely aging well."
"Unlike someone I know." Knuckles said, shooting a quick glance to Adofo before chuckling. "So you made it through my maze. I'm impressed."
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Simba half-growled, half-mewed.

CHAPTER THREE
King of the Hill
(Knuckles' Chapter)

(sorry. I was gone all day.)
Adofo: Why do you look at me when you say that?!
Knuckles: I think you know!
Adofo: Still a stubborn stick in the mud with dog crap for brains!
Knuckles: YOU WANT TO GO!?!
Adofo: OH YEAH I AM!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FORWARD TO THIS FOR YEARS!!!!!
Knuckles: THEN COME GET SOME!!!!!
The two start to brawl. Punching and slamming each other on the ground. They both got a running start, jumped and simultaniously kicked each other in the stomach, sending both of them flying backwards.
Knuckles: Ugggh......ah......man.
Adofo: Ohhhh.....ssssss......
Knuckles: Is that.....the best you got? Hehe.....hehehe.
Adofo: ....no.....come on.....round two!
Kelsey: STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU!

"But I hardly even started." Knuckles complained.
"I don't give a damn. That's childish." Kelsey snarled.

Meh, mobile. And Tails is bugging me to help him with something.)

[Adofo]

Adofo: Ugh.
Kelsey: Now shake hands and make up!
The two just stand and glare at each other.
Kelsey: I SAID MAKE UP!
She shoves the two together and makes them hug each other.
Kelsey: NOW STAY LIKE THAT!! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I'M SICK OF THIS STUPID FEUD!!! NOW YOU TWO ARE GOING TO STAY LIKE THAT FOR AN HOUR!
Kelsey chains them together.
Adofo: Are you kidding?!
Knuckles: Listen babe we were just playing! We can get along!
Kelsey: YEAH RIGHT! Your hour starts right now!
Knuckles: This is going to be a looooong hour.
Adofo: ........I gotta to the bathroom.
Knuckles: Kill me now!
