Alma looked at Marrone and smiled, "I'm very proud of Addana, I think she will be a great queen. Jafar can be a great leader too. But you were the best." She said. She nuzzled her mate, "You were a great father to Nyembe it's a shame what happen to him, he was a good cub. I still can't put my paw on what made him turn so evil."

The Nero Pride: Truth of the Forbidden Pride [Tempesta's Secrets]

Summary-Nero Pride: Addana and Jafar have a new cub; Theodore. Marrone and Alma have retired and spend their days watching the cubs and patrolling the land. Delano is the Pride's lead protector and his mate Tempesta is the pack's leading huntress. They now have two cubs Digof [son] and Elsa [daughter], who spend most of their time running around with Theodore. Maximus is also another pride protector, his mate Himili is the healer and babysitter of this Pride. Zuwa is the son of Maximus and Himili, hes taken a interest in fighting and providing for the Pride.

Summary-Forbidden Pride: The jungle land that use to be theirs has been deserted, the Queen picked up her Pride and left. Something else was hunting the lions & Lionesses in the night and it wasn't hyenas. You can never be to sure though, the lions & lionesses of the Forbidden Pride are different. Fiore' wasn't going to stick around while her Pride got wiped out, now shes looking for a new home. Or is she running from something? Fiore's son Tuono is the heir to the throne, his father died a year ago. Just when the weird disappearances were beginning to happen. Skye's mother was also killed and Fiore' took her in and has begun raising her, since she never really had a daughter of her own. Now there's only two lions, an elder, a young lioness left.

In the beginning, there was only one powerful King of the jungle; Markus. He controlled all the jungle land and mountain area, his Pride was large and very strong. But something happened one night when a protector decided he didn't want to follow anymore. Trident rallied together some other lions and lionesses who wanted to do their own thing, smaller Pride more food. A war broke loose in the Pride and soon it was divided down the jungle. With Markus's strongest fighters attacking his own Pride he fled deep in the jungle, letting Trident rule the mountain area, which had the waterfall and also gave him control of the grassy plains. Victorious Trident took a Queen and had a few cubs of his own his heir Marrone and his daughter Jewel. He ruled his Pride with strength and kept his family safe and his Pride soon became strong and bountiful.

Still picking up the pieces Markus rebuilt his Pride and controlled the deep jungle, where they weren't the only ones living in shadow. Panthers also found a home in Markus's pride, very few but still they were accepted. Markus awhile back lost his old mate to a fatal accident with a stampede and he found a new love, but she was black as night with eyes like emeralds. A panther named; Sheba soon became Queen and gave Markus 3 cubs, two sons Leon and Kal and a single daughter; Mitsa. Realizing Markus needed extra hunting territory he met with Trident and offered a peace treaty, he wanted the Pride's to live in peace but also have more land to hunt. He offered Trident his only daughter and planned on betrothing her to his son, Marrone. In turn Trident would allow his lands open so Markus's Pride could hunt.

Trident agreed to the deal and told Markus to send Mitsa over to the Pride when she was a young adult, she was to marry Marrone. If he didn't the treaty would be broken and if any of Markus's Pride was caught on his land; he'd kill them.

When Mitsa became of age she fought the idea of being sent away and instead she ran and stayed hidden from her Pride for a few months. With the treaty broken Trident began killing any lion & lionesses caught on his land, when Mitsa did return to Trident's Pride it was to late....

Tempesta: It felt so surreal, she could see her mother running, running through the jungle not looking back. Tempesta chased her mother down, "Mom! Mom! Wait.." she called out. It seemed the lioness could not hear her and soon Mitsa skidded to a stop. Tempesta stopped behind her and her eyes widened at the sight before her, it was the Temple ruins. Why here? she wondered as her mother turned to face her, freight passing through her turquoise eyes before the whole scene went black.

Gasping for air Tempesta lifted her head and looked around the den, Delano was sleeping silently beside her with Digof and Elsa nuzzled in his big side. She shook the terrible sight from her mind, it had been the same dream she was having for weeks now, what did it mean? Tempesta's turquoise eyes squinted as she gazed out the den, she was up before the sun; again. She sighed heavily and slowly left Delano's side, she watched the parrots fly above her towards the waterfall, "What did it all mean..." she whispered. These sleepless nights were taking a toll on the lioness, with bouncing cubs and finding dinner for the Pride she was exhausted. She sat quietly as her tail flickered by her side, her eyes watching the jungle wake up.

Elsa: The black pelted cub snuggled closer in her father's warm side and she rested her head on her brother's back comfortably. Still sleeping soundly.

Marrone: The lions of the past were haunting his dreams lately and Marrone barely slept, he sat awake in his den laying silently next to Alma. He watched his old Queen sleep soundlessly and he gazed out at the nothingness. He had many things on his mind, but as the day was beginning to start he knew he needed to get ready. He leaned over and gave Alma's cheek a loving lick, "Morning.." he whispered softly in her ear.



Queen Fiore': Her green eyes peered below at her still sleeping Pride, Fiore' had climbed high up on a piece of broken stone. Her tan toe paws wiggled a bit as she stretched out on her perch, she stayed high at night to make sure she could see all trespassers. The lioness gave a small sigh as she slowly hopped down from her broken ledge, she hit the soft ground with a thud. "Tuono, Wake up!" she snapped a bit irritable. She reclined back to her black hinds and patiently awaited for her son to respond to her call.

Skye: Her fluffy chocolate colored ears perked forward as she heard the Queen's call, she nudged her brother Tuono. "Moms calling you.." she whispered. She rubbed her baby blue eyes with her paw and blinked a few times, "Come on Tuono!" she said softly tugging at his ear with her small teeth.

Delano: When Delano finally woke up, he instinctively felt around for Tempesta, but once again, his paws hit empty air instead of his mate's body. Groaning, Delano slowly opened his eyes. Both Elsa and Digof were sleeping next to him, cuddled against his warm body, while Tempesta was nowhere to be found. This worried him. For the past few days, Tempesta no longer woke up with them, always outside early, and during the day, she seemed not only tired, but also distracted. Sighing, Delano slowly got up. Without his warm body, Digof moved a little before opening his eyes. Delano leaned down to his son's level. "Hey, listen," he whispered softly, "I'm going outside for a bit. When your sister wakes up, take her to my brother. Spend the day with your cousin, alright?" Digof nodded slowly, and Delano smiled before licking him a quick goodbye. He left the den and went of in search of his mate.

Finding Tempesta wasn't hard. She was lying down at her favorite spot by the waterfall. Despite it being morning, she looked like she was up for the past few days straight. Delano approached her slowly, unsure. "Morning, love..." He said uncertainly. "You weren't with us this morning. Or the past few morning as well..." He said. Once he reached her, he rubbed his head with hers. "You look like you haven't slept in ages, and you were always elsewhere for the past few days. You're making me worried. Please, tell me, what's wrong?" He asked her, hoping that he didn't cross some line that he shouldn't have. "You know that I can't spend all my time with our kids, but I don't want to burden you with extra work. But they need us... So please, tell me what's wrong."


Digof: Digof slept peacefully until he was rudely awakened by his dad getting up. When Delano explained the plan for him, Digof rolled his eyes. "But we spent all of last week with Theodore!" He complained. But his words fell on deaf ears as Delano licked him goodbye and left the den. Digof rolled his eyes. "Alright, dad. I'll do it." He lay back down next to his sister and closed his eyes, knowing that if she would wake up before him, he would notice.

Zuwa woke bright and early, and headed to King Jafar. Himili had told him that he wouldn't mind giving lessons. He nudged his mother awake. "Going to the King's place,"
"Yes. Yes. Of course," Himili replied groggily.

At the moment, Jafar was waking up. He yawned and rose to his feet. He smiled at the sight of his mate and son. "Today is going to be a good day," he said.

Tuono: Tuono rolled onto his side, still half asleep and laying down. "What do you want?" He snapped, his electric blue eyes closed, wanting to go back into slumber again. He wriggled his black nose and dark tan muzzle trying to awaken his body. Also wiggling his pale tan toes and shaking out his small maroon red mane. His mane was in a strip down his back to his mid back, and down his chest to his stomach, only a few hairs but his mane was going to be huge.

Maximus: Maximus was awoken by Zuwa and Himili. "Zuwa, please tell me again where you are going?" He asked even though Zuwa was an adolescent, he still needed to be careful. Nuzzling Himili, he noticed she was still half asleep. "Oh and, where's the sun?" Another question for Zuwa, if it was still early he was going back to sleep. Getting older each day was giving an excuse to always be asleep.

Theodore: Theodore got up to the sound of his father's voice. "Dad, can I come with you?" He asked, smiling up at his father with his emerald green eyes he inherited from his mother, but light fur from his father. Wide awake now and ready to have fun.

[Songo]

Tempesta: Tempesta's furry brown ears perked forward at the sound of her mate's voice, he brought her back to reality. " I'm sorry." she whispered softly. Her turouqise eyes flickered as she hopped down to the soft grass, she leaned in and nuzzled Delano. "I've been having these horriable dreams about my mother...they wont go away and she always seems to stop in the same place." she confessed. She rubbed her head off his and gave him a small smirk, "I love you so much. You and the cubs are my life, I just didn't want you to worry."


Elsa: Elsa's sea green eyes opened slowly as she noticed her brother awake. She quickly hopped up to her paws and looked for her mother and father. They were gone, they always were in the morning. She was half asleep when she heard her father tell Digof for them to visit Theodore. "Come on Digof, race you to the den!" she squealed running out the den full speed. She passed her mother and father, "Morning mom and dad!" she called out before standing infront of Jafar and Addana's den.

"THEODORE!" she shouted, "COME OUT AND PLAY!"


Tempesta: Tempesta grinned as Elsa ran from the den and she smiled, "Be safe! Wheres your brother?" she said stepping towards Elsa. Her eyes widened as Elsa began yelling into her Aunt and Uncle's den, "Elsa! You stop your shouting this instant!" she yelled once more scolding her daughter.




Queen Fiore': Her green eyes narrowed thinly at her lazy son, "Get up right now! Its time to wake the Pride up and get food or we won't be eating!" she said with a sneer. Fiore' stepped to the middle of the temple ruins and let out a roar of anger, "UP EVERYONE" she growled. Taking a few breaths to relax she headed back over to Tuono and gave him a few licks and then nuzzled Skye, "Good morning my princess, did you sleep well?" she asked looking down at the small cub.


Skye: She ran out of the den after Tuono and tried to keep up as she hopped over some rocky terrain, "Morning mama, yes I did." she said with a big grin. Her ears fell back a bit as her mom growled, but she normally did. It was time to wake up, she wasn't sure where the rest of the Pride was sleeping at.

Jafar looked down at his son Theodore. "All right, Son. You can come, just stay close to me," he stated.

Tuono: Tuono got up quick to the sound of food. "Can I watch a hunt this time with Skye? I'm worried she'll get trampled, the animals have been getting angry these past few days." He said, keeping Skye close to him. Clearly, he cared a great deal about Skye. After her real mother got killed, he couldn't let the same murderer get close or even see Skye. If a new lion walked by, he would instantly jump in front of Skye.

Theodore: Elsa yelled into the den, and Theodore laughed, "I guess I can't today father but tomorrow can you teach me about being king?" With a wide smile, Theodore tilted his head and looked up. No lion could ever say no to that face.
