Yea IKR, its crazy. My dad is an Author but also does movie reviews on the radio. He gets to interview a TON of famous people. Its really amazing! I totally will see it, it looks like a movie anyone can relate to.

Wow... your Dad has my dream job. Like, seriously. I'd love to do that for the rest of my life
Best part of the movie for me was that the main character is my age. Watching him grow up on the screen reminded me so much of my own life really. Like, instead of watching the character be a 15 in 2004 or whatever, I saw him be a 15 in 2011, same as me. It was also pretty fun being able to tell what year it was based on the clothing styles or the music playing in the background or the technology (you see a lot of iPods throughout the film, which is cool to see them changing as time passes and technology becomes more advanced) Near the beginning of the film the main character is playing The Oregon Trail on one of the old style Macintosh computers and then later on they're watching Lady Gaga on an iPod touch and near the end he's FaceTiming someone on an iPhone 4. It's kinda like in Shawshank Redemption - the passage of time is shown through subtle changes as opposed to just boring old title cards stating the year (examples: The changing posters of the actresses in Andy's cell, Brook's crow starting as a chick at the beginning of the movie and growing into an adult crow, the mentioning of historical events like JFK's assasination, etc. )
Aw man, I want to go see it again with my friends.
