I wish people would just talk to me. Everyone seems strung out and idk I guess they either don't trust me or don't want to "bother" me with whatever they're dealing with, or something. I dunno, things are finally almost decent for me and now everyone just, has completely and totally one hundred percent gone quiet on me, only to speak to me in passing or when they have to or when I go to lengths to speak to them in a setting they'd clearly rather not be in. I really miss my friends, and I'm fearful that a rift is forming with a certain one. I don't want that to happen.

I swear that more and more, I'm turning in to my father. That's probably no bad thing.

Also that I'm glad I'm feeling a bit better this evening. I was worried that when I finally got home and relaxed that my health might go downhill, but I think working these crazy hours has pretty much burnt this cold out.

A lot of people seem to have just gone off without saying anything, though, and I kinda worry about them. I mean, they're probably okay, but I wouldn't know lol.

Selfishly mistreat others? Yep. He was so lazy last week when he was unemployed still that he couldn't be arsed to now the lawn like my folks asked him repeatedly, so in spite of having a very physically demanding job, I now get to spend my days off mowing the overgrown lawn with a push mower in 90° weather. But unlike some people, I don't get salty at the mere thought of being a decent human being, so I volunteered to do this so my mum won't have to.

I need to get up on time tomorrow to make the lasagne and clear out more of the room.

Less than a month and the house will be ours to move into. I'm so excited but so, so scared at the same time.

I can't believe I chickened out. I should definitely make a pros/cons list and see what happens. I think I just need to toughen up and tell him, though, because I hate feeling the way I do without him knowing. It sucks. And what was with early this morning when I almost cried while laughing? (To clarify, I wasn't laughing so hard I was crying. I almost cried because of thinking of possibly never seeing him again after this summer. I've been feeling sad about that a lot lately.)
