If you know anything about me, then, you would love that I am a cinephile. And when you are a cinephile, you have to at least have some love for movie trailers. Since we have a connection with TLK, what is your favorite trailer or television spot that best advertised the movie?
Here's a list of the most of the trailers and television spots I've found:
The Lion King preview on Aladdin 1993 VHS release (1993)
The Lion King preview on The Fox and the Hound 1994 VHS release (1994)
The Lion King official trailer (1994)
Some of The Lion King TV spots (1994 - 1995)
The Lion King re-release trailer (October 1994)
The Lion King home video trailer (1995)
The Lion King IMAX trailer (2002)
The Lion King Platinum Edition trailer (2003)
The Lion King Diamond/3D trailer (2011)
The Lion King 3D TV spot #1 (2011)
The Lion King 3D "Everything the Light Touches" TV spot (2011)
The Lion King 3D TV spot #2 (2011)
The Lion King 3D TV spot #3 (2011)
The Lion King 3D Combo Pack TV spot (2011)
If I miss any, I'm sorry, but there are a lot of them.
My favorites are the 1994 re-release trailer and the home video trailer. They described the storyline short and sweet (unlike the official trailer), and the "King of Pride Rock" music added an epic feel to it. In the poll, you have two options, and you change your vote if you like.
