Name: Kulinda (loosely translates to "protect" in Swahili)

Description: While most lionesses possess paler fur than their male counterparts, Kulinda takes that to the extreme with her creamy-coloured fur, with her underbelly a bright silver, startlingly similar to Tanga's secondary fur colour. Both her eyes and her tail tuft are a soft shade of brown.
Aside from her pale fur coluration, Kulinda's appearance is rather unremarkable, with both her size and musculature average for a lioness her age.
Personality: As her name implies, Kulinda is highly protective of her son. Her slightly overbearing nature has lead some to believe that there is something specific she is trying to protect her son, but aside from her behaviour, there has been no evidence to suggest such a danger exists.
She is also rather wary of strangers, and having heard about Tani's troubled past, is particularly wary of Tanga, with his status as a rogue.
But when she is in the company of friends and not worrying about Juhudi, her demeanour changes completely, becoming much more lively and carefree. But that side or her is seen less and less these days, and some Pridelanders are beginning to fear that Kulinda's fun side could be leaving...forever. But with no apparant cause for this, no-one can do anything to stop it.
Skills: Despite her rather unremarkable basis, Kulinda is a fine huntress, and although she loathes fighting other lions, can be a capable fighter if she is provoked. Despite her slight overbearing nature as a parent, she is nonetheless a good mother for Juhudi...even if the cub does not yet agree.
History: Kulinda has lived a rather unremarkable life. She grew up in the time directly after Simba took the throne of Pride Rock, seeing the Pridelands transform from Scar's barren wasteland into the fertle land it had been during Mufasa's rule.
She became mated to Mwamba almost the moment she reached maturity, although the couple appears to have drifted apart since Juhudi was born, making many wonder if she might have been too hasty in her relationship with Mwamba.
