Personality: Heshima is a calm, collected lioness who rarely allows her temper to get the best of her. She is her mate Tanga's rock, his support to lean upon when he is faced with tough decisions as the leader of the Enclosure Pride. But she is strong, too. After all, as the pride leader's mate, she must be strong and firm, and unwavering in her support of her mate. She speaks in a soothing voice which can serenade even the most unruly and angry of souls. She is protective of her daughter Marini, but understands the nature of a cub and does allow her to roam as freely as she can.
Description: Heshima is a cream-colored lioness, her underbelly slightly lighter. She possesses emerald green eyes which often seem to glow in the twilight of the evening. As far as build goes, she is sleek and slender, though certainly well-fed and with probably the average muscle-mass of a normal lioness. A slight-but-noticeable scar runs along her right foreleg; it is the remnants of a wound she received as a cub, when she was caught in a barbed fence outside of a human enclosure.
Story: Heshima came to the Enclosure, as most of the lions and lionesses before and after her did, by accident. She was originally a part of a nearby pride which lived in caves surrounded by a large waterfall. She went exploring one day and found herself near the human encampment in which she now resides. Wandering too close to the encampment, she tangled herself in a fencing surrounding the area, her right foreleg bearing the brunt of her injuries. Luckily, her yowls of pain were heard by the humans inside the enclosure, and she was rescued and nursed back to health. Heshima remained in the enclosure thereafter, growing to her full maturity while there. Tanga was introduced into the enclosure when she was still maturing, but she was of full maturity once he chose her as his mate.
