Personality: Santiago is a slight bit uptight and serious when you first meet him. He likes to put all of his focus on the task at hand, but will take the occasional break to tease his friends and family. He is just learning to laugh at jokes aimed at himself and has humor dry as a bone. He also appreciates ironic humor and sarcasm in some cases. Make him mad or upset his friends and you won't hear the end of it from this lion (similarly, he doesn't like to mention his past). Despite his tough and sometimes confrontational personality, deep down inside Santiago can be a softie. Definitely a good lion to have on your side.
Description: Santiago is powerfully built and has the muscle to prove it. With his strength he can move things as big as a small boulder himself with enough effort. His fur is a tan colour with his tail's tuff and mane almost jet black in colour. His mane is silky and easily flows with the wind and features two strands of mane falling over his left eye. He has emerald green eyes.
Other: Speaks with a Brooklyn accent (obviously he's not from Brooklyn, but it's the accent his old pride had).

Background: Santiago was born during times of strife for his father's pride. As a cub Santiago didn't know who to trust, a problem only made worse when some of the members of Kago's pride rebelled and killed the king and queen. Santiago ran away and began a life of wandering.
When he was a teenager, Santiago eventually met Malawi, a lioness whose pride he had joined. Eventually they got married and had a cub. One day they left Kyri in the capable paws of Malawi's parents, Santiago and Malawi found a cave which they decided to explore. When the two got into the cave, Malawi stepped on a loose section of dirt which caved causing the lioness to fall to her death. Blaming himself for his mate's death, Santiago returned to his life of wandering with Kyri before he eventually collapsed with his cub in the Pride Lands.
After resting in the Pride Lands, Santiago eventually asked Simba to join the pride. This is where his past ends and his present begins, his destiny will become directly influenced by those he meets and befriends here.
