History When Gzifa was born, she was a chunky cub which her parents didn't approve of. Her mother more than her father would tell her constantly how disgraceful it was that a cub should be as 'bulky' as she. As a result, her parents figured they would make the best of it and turn her into a future warrior of the pride. However, Gzifa never liked fighting but to please her parents, she went along with their wishes to be a warrior though she hated the thought of being a killer. When Jowari, Gzifa's little brother, was born, her parents were always nicer to him than they were her; it was acceptable for a male to be large but not a female. Gzifa was constantly picked on for her weight as a cub, but her little brother was always there to protect her and tell them to leave her alone. As a result, Gzifa was very close with her brother and relied on him to keep her safe. She spent a lot of her time with her grandfather, who spoke with her all the time and always told her she was beautiful.

In her teen years, Gzifa was still a 'bigger girl' and thusly got more verbal abuse from her mother while her father didn't speak with her often. Her relationship with her grandfather grew, as he taught her how to control a temper she was beginning to obtain through the constant fighting with her parents and warrior training. As lionesses her age seemed to be pairing up with males, Gzifa was left by herself and would often have her brother spend time with her. Once Jowari was being looked at by other females, the time he spent with Gzifa ceased to maybe a couple times a week. Gzifa was, more or less, a loner in the pride; she would go to warrior training, hang out with Adongo, and then go to sleep for the next day.

At the age of four, Gzifa was a fully trained warrior and was to be the leader of the warriors in her pride. But she didn't want that for herself. She thought long and hard about what she wanted, and finally decided she needed to leave and be on her own. She told Adongo, and though he wished she wouldn't leave, he wished her the best for a safe and happy life. In the middle of the night when all were asleep in her pride, she left and made her way out of the lands so she could not be found by a search party by her pride.

Personality Gzifa's a very outgoing, bubbly, and talkative lioness. As she thrives to be friends with as many living creatures as she can, she has no problem walking up to anyone, no matter how they look, and strike up a conversation with them. Often, she finds herself trying to be funny but her jokes tend to fall flat (you can always tell when she thinks she failed by the small sigh she uses at the end of her 'bad jokes'). She is also very intelligent, able to remember things from a long time ago and memorize things that she is taught. Gzifa can find herself being the shoulder to cry on or the ear listening to someones' problems, but she never fails to give advice to another as best she can. She tends to stay away from conflict, but sometimes she finds herself in the middle of it if she's protecting a loved one, or her temper makes an appearance (but that is only in a very rare circumstance). As this lioness still holds around the insecurities of her figure, she can shy away from flirtations and generally finds herself scatterbrained in romantic situations. As well as being awkward during romantic encounters, she can also be quite the chatterbox when under pressure or trying to lie, often just coming right out with what she's trying to hide from someone in a dramatic fashion. Though it is rare, when her temper rears its ugly head, she can become quite mean and will take jabs at someone to make herself feel better in the moment. However, she tends to catch herself in the moments of anger, and take a few moments to breathe and calm down before she excuses herself from getting too worked up to say something she knows she would regret. But ultimately, Gzifa likes to help everyone and anyone, from friend to enemy. All she really wants is for others to get along.
