Personality: Matthew is an outgoing, caring young male lion who will always try to voice his opinion about things. He is quite smart, and knows his way in the world. He is always willing to help, but this willingness usually leads him to being used just for jobs like hunting and patrolling. He sometimes finds it hard to expect when he's wrong at times.

He has always wanted to be a father and too be a loving mate. Family is important to him, as are friends too. He's a very sociable lion and doesn't particularly like being alone. He also likes spending time around younger lions when he's in a pride, teaching them valuable skills in life that he learnt from a young age.

Description: Matthew has dark orange/yellow main fur and a lighter version for underbelly & paw fur. He has emerald green eyes and a dark brown mane & tail tuft. He has a black pridelander nose and pink inner ears.

History: Matthew grew up in a small jungle pride and had a healthy, loving upbringing. He is part of a family of 3 other siblings, him beings the second youngest. His parents were the leaders of the pride, and as he was not going to be next in line, and considered becoming a rouge due to his fantastic hunting ability and the life skills his father taught him.

He had a real bond with his father, he was the first male son, his younger brother being the second and his father always took him out and taught him skills and spent basic father and son quality time with him. However, one rainy season, Matthew got caught up in a stampede to escape floods when he was 1. He fell into a river and his father saved him, only for his father to end up drowning.

Devastated, Matthew decided to stay in his pride to comfort his mother. His eldest sister became a leader along with her mate and a year later, Matthew's mother could see he wanted to be out there living a new life, so told him to go for it. And he did. He has currently joined the Kirubi Pride.
