Age: Adolescent-Adult / 2.5 Years

Gender: Female

Species: Panthera Leos (Lion)

Appearance: Zuri’s lithe frame is defined by lean, dainty muscle and equally dainty paws. The lioness’ rich and dark brown pelt is offset by a pale, almost tawny subpelt. Each digit on her paws match that of the subpelt, while in contrast to the dark brown tail tuft. Zuri’s eyes are a striking, playful green, with slightly lighter hair around them. Her dark, almost red nose is that of the “Pridelander” shape.

Personality: Zuri is open about what she feels and is quite confident, even if she believes that fighting is not her ‘cup of tea’, to quote a baboon she’d spoken to before. The lioness knows what she wants, though, and doesn’t beat around the bush. In opposite terms of her sister, she can start up a conversation with complete strangers regardless without any hesitation. But, despite her highly social needs, she won’t abandon her ‘little’ sister to sit off by herself. Be it metaphorically kicking and screaming; Zuri finds ways to involve her sister whether she likes it or not.

History: With her sister, she was born to a pair of rogues that wandered as a way of life. The adventure of finding new things and meeting new people has never worn dull on Zuri, optimistic and sure that things will turn out well if they make it. Because of her appearance, she’s never had trouble attracting friends and companions for however long they stay at a place.

Always being one to do what she wants, one way or another, has led to a few misadventures, but nothing that she can’t laugh about later. Upon going off on her own with her sister, Kiada, her newest goal is that her sister will live life to its fullest. Grabbing the wildebeest by the horns, per se, and not letting go.

Skills: In contrast to her sister, while she can hunt, she prefers not to. Social skills are where her talents lie; be it in keeping peace, or stirring up a little excitement out of a bland day. If she were a bit more of a vixen, one could call her manipulative.
