Personality: As his name suggests, Asani is a little rebellious. He likes to think he won't listen to his parents, and he often tries. But in the end, he often conforms. As a cub, he loves to fight. He would often provoke the older lions into playing with him by swatting at them and biting their tails and such. Asani is stubborn. When he makes up his mind, others often have a hard time changing it. However, when anyone mentions punishment, he will bend over backwards to avoid it. For a young cub, he has a lot of pride in himself. He tries to act brave and tough, like many little lions do. And when his pride is hurt, whether getting scared, hurt, or losing a fight, he can often be seen with watery eyes. But he won't let anyone ever see him cry. He has a fascination with frog, as he thinks they are the strangest things, with their bubble-throat, springy legs, and slimy green bodies. When he finds one, he will often go off and follow it, regardless of what he was doing. As a teen, his cubhood traits are amplified. He is very rebellious, and feels the need to prove himself constantly. However, as an adult, Asani calms down quite a bit. He is more mature, and is still as stubborn as he was. But he loses a lot of his rebellion as he becomes a young adult. He is still fascinated by frogs, but lacks the obsession he had for them as a cub.
Description: Asani has a pelt slightly lighter than that of his mother, Laini. However, he is darker than his brother, Muroki. On the front of his front legs, between his shoulder and his elbow, there is a series of thin stripes that are as light as his underbelly, which is cream color. This also occurs on his rear legs between his hip and knee. His tail tuft is black, like his mother and brother's, and he has a black tuft of hair, similar to Vitani's. His eyes are deep amber, just like his mother's. As a teen, he grows a v-shape tuft of fur on his chest that connects just behind his front legs, and his mane grows out, covering his eyes and a line down the back of his neck, and starts to grow cream streaks. As an adult, his mane is full grown, his bangs covering his eyes, like as a teenager. However, his cream streaks are more noticeable.
