Hans Zimmer wrote the Lion King's score.

Hans Zimmer wrote all Pirates of the Caribbean scores.

Hans Zimmer wrote the score for Despicable me, Spirit; Stallion of the Cimarron, The Last Samurai, Shark Tale, Twister, Kung Fu Panda, Sherlock Holmes, and Muppet Treasure Island.

Don't forget that he also did all of the scores for Madagascar and Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. ;)

He has composed music for over 100 Films. ^^
And he has been ranked Number 72 on the list of the "Top 100 living geniuses" apparentely. :nehneh:

I think the Lion King score is the best score he's done, hands down. It's too epic for words.

Well, its the only one that got him an Acadamy Award so I would say many people agree! Plus, it also got him a Golden Globe and 2 Grammys. :D

That score is just amazing. Epic is the perfect word.

Prince of Egipt is sooooo underrated! One of the best animated movies ever, in my opinion.

You definitely should QOPR. It's one of those movies where, no matter your religion, it still keeps it's awesomeness. The Prince of Egypt is often perceived as an underrated movie. The unity of art, music, creativity, story, and heart are truly something of legend. And who do we have to thank for such a score? None other than the topic for this thread, Hans Zimmer.
