I have much respect for him. ^^ I think he did a marvelous job with TLK2SP and having to follow in the paw-prints of such a well known and respected movie that TLK was, I applaud him for his efforts. While I know a lot of people disliked TLK2SP, I'm definitely not one of them and I appreciate the effort and thought he put into directing this wonderful sequel. :)

I exactly agree on this. He knew what the film needed. Darrell said "What's a story that doesn't end in the first film, but ends all the way at the end of the second film". Also, SP was created because they wanted us, the fans of TLK, to spend more time with the characters that we knew from TLK1 and head on over to TLK2 but the new characters were created as well. He did a great job on directing SP.
