Nah but seriously, I think that is a United States law that says we have to allow children younger than 13 on this site if they have parental permission.

I am pretty sure the law states that if you want to allow people under the age of 13, then they must get parental permission to be on. As far as being forced to allow them in if they have permission, if Moka for some reason says "no one under 13", then even parental permission won't be enough.
That being said, I do not believe that removing everyone under thirteen from MLK is a good solution.

I'm not going to restrict a certain age group just so we can use profanity whenever we want. I want MLK to be as open and free as I can manage within the law. We are open by allowing an inclusive, encompassing community of Lion King fans and free by having a website with no advertisements and tools available to everyone.
Besides, it's kind of ridiculous to not allow children on a site that is dedicated to a Disney movie. It's also rude to suggest we deactivate that population in our community.

I agree with Moka, but, as a better solution, we could have a "mature" section of some sorts, which is invisible to guests and members under a certain age. By that, I mean the rules could be adjusted to be a bit more in the PG-13 range. I can even think of a few TLK related topics which could belong to that section. I think it would be a happy medium.
